Why Completeness in IT Monitoring Matters
Good marketing should be descriptive at least, when possible educational, and entertaining at best. One of the terms we use to describe Zenoss is “complete.” Completeness in IT management systems prevents information silos, allows a higher level of insight into your network operations, and helps you to be more productive. And completeness enables things like intelligent alerting to reduce false-positives, and more effective event management since performance and availability data can be correlated. This article discusses how information overload reduces people’s effectiveness in a variety of professions.
